Vitamin C

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is extremely beneficial for our skin. Most anti aging products contain vitamin E as an essential ingredient.

Vitamin K
According to common knowledge, vitamin K is needed for blood coagulation. However, recent researches have found that benefits of vitamin K are more wide spread. This vitamin can also be effective in treating the symptoms of aging. Aging is often associated with inflammation.

Inflammation of different parts of the body causes arthritis, Alzheimer’s disease and cardiovascular diseases. Increase in a hormone, known as Interleukin-6, is believed to be responsible for the inflammation and consequent degeneration of different body parts. Vitamin K is capable of reducing the level of Interleukin-6 hormone in our body. As we age, calcium might deposit in the arteries causing arteriosclerosis. This is responsible for heart diseases. Vitamin K is capable of preventing deposition of calcium in the arteries. However, while keeping calcium away from our arteries, the same vitamin K actually carries calcium to our bones. Consumption of vitamin K is therefore recommended for people suffering from bone mass loss from osteoarthritis.
