Lemon Juice Mixture

Make a mixture of lemon juice, almond oil, milk and sugar and blend them well. Use this mixture to scrub your lips for about fifteen minutes. Lemon juice being a natural bleaching agent may lighten the dark color of your lips.

At the same time almond oil and milk will remove the dead tissues from the upper layer of your lips and nourish your lips. Sugar plays a major role in scrubbing and thus removing the dead cells while nourishing the lips. After scrubbing moisturize your lip with some lip balm. This will help you to retain your natural lip color.

Massage Your Lips

You can use glycerin to massage your lips daily and this will give you a soft, smooth and light colored lip. Instead of glycerin you can also use almond oil or unsalted butter. Vegetable and fruit juices also make a significant difference in lip color is used for massaging your lips. Juices of beetroot, pomegranate, coriander etc can also be used for massaging. Regular massaging will improve the blood circulation to your lips and thus makes it lighter.


Drink at least ten glasses of water per day and this will help you to wash out the toxic materials present in your body and may also improve your blood circulation. This will help you to moisturize your lips and retain its natural color.


Use lipsticks that contain sunscreen and this will protect your lips from the ultra violet radiations and from its pigmentation effects.

Apply a little amount of clarified butter on your lips on every night. This will moisturize your skin and will make it smooth.
