Most of the mothers would be worried about the health of their kid’s skin. Most of the babies loose their skin color and softness as the baby grows. The main reason behind this is the life style and the diet. The following tips may help you to restore the health of your kid’s skin.



Healthy Skin

Diet



Take care of your kid’s diet and feed them with fruits and vegetables. Try to include more colored vegetables and fruits in their diet. This is because the beta carotene present in the bright colored fruits and vegetables helps to maintain the skin health. Also include foods that are rich in vitamins in their diet. Try to feed them cord liver oil as it is rich in vitamins particularly vitamin E. Ask your kid to drink plenty of water as it helps to remove the toxic substances from the body and also leave the skin hydrated and soft.

Honey




Make a mixture out of lemon juice, honey and milk powder and apply it on your kid’s skin. Keep it for about 20 minutes and then wash off with tepid water. Continue this daily till you attain the original skin color.

Mint Leaves

Take some fresh mint leaves and grind it. Mix the grind leaves with curd and spread it on your baby’s skin. Keep it for 15 minutes and rinse off.

Turmeric

Turmeric powder constitute of yellow pigment called curcumin which is supposed to brighten the skin color. More over turmeric has antiseptic property too. This will help to avoid the infections on the skin and maintains the skin health.  Turmeric helps to keep the skin soft and smooth also. Make a paste out of turmeric powder and lemon juice and apply it on your kid’s skin. Once the paste gets dried then remove it with water. Or you can make a paste with turmeric powder, gram flour and yogurt. Spread this paste on your kid’s body and wash it off after 20 minutes. If you can mix beetroot juice along with turmeric powder and apply it on the skin, then it will act as a bleaching agent and will lighten your kid’s skin while leaving it smooth.

Aloe Vera

Apply juice taken from aloe vera on your kid’s skin and wash off after 20 minutes. It will act as a very good conditioner and will make the skin smooth and soft while helping to lighten the skin.
