Sony Ericsson W595a Tattoo is no longer a body art. Thanks to Sony Ericsson and noted tattoo artist Don Ed Hardy, tattoo has become a cell phone art too.

Sony Ericsson has collaborated with Don Ed Hardy to create a limited edition Sony Ericsson W595a phone. This Sony Ericsson walkman phone is admired by music lovers of all generation. Including the tattoo theme in the W595a handset is bound to enhance its acceptability further.

Sony Ericsson W595a Ed Hardy phone features

Tattoo theme
The tattoos adorning the W595a Ed Hardy limited edition handset carry the signature skulls, tigers, snakes and floral motifs of Don Ed Hardy. The bigger and the more outrageous tattoos, including the Ed Hardy’s famous ‘Death Before Dishonor’, are present on the back of the handset.

Music phone
The tattoo-inspired Sony Ericsson W595a phone includes the features of the original W595a handset. To give the best musical experience possible with a cell phone, it has included integrated stereo speakers, stereo share headphone jack and the Shake and SensMe functions of Sony Ericsson. The gesture control Shake function helps to change the tune and volume of the music player by jerking the wrist. SensMe allows users to design playlists to display different moods. The TrackID feature helps to locate the artists of songs played on the phone. The 40MB internal storage space, which could be further expanded up to 2GB with microSD memory card is capable of storing up to 1900 songs.

Other features
The W595a limited edition handset has a slider design sporting a 2.2-inch TFT display of 240 x 320-pixel resolution and 262K colors support. The 3.2-megapixel camera of the phone comes with 2.5x zoom, video and picture blogging capabilities. W595a also features RDS radio and browser. This Sony Ericsson music phone runs on quad band GSM and UMTS networks. It supports Bluetooth and 3G connectivity. However, this phone, just like the original w595a, lacks Wi-Fi and GPS. The USB 2.0 port can be used to sync W595a with PC. The phone battery allows up to 9 hours of talk time and 385 hours of standby time.

The Sony Ericsson W595 Ed Hardy edition is currently available only in the UK.
