Sprint Introduces Samsung Moment Android Phone

Samsung Moment M900 Sprint is bringing a new Google phone created by Samsung. Samsung Moment, the upcoming phone powered by Google’s Android operating system, will feature a touch screen display along with a slide out QWERTY keyboard. With this Samsung handset, you can access prominent Google services.

Samsung Moment sports a 3.2-inch AMOLED display. AMOLED display will provide brighter and clearer images that cause less eyestrain. Compared to conventional displays, AMOLED screens will suck up less battery juice.

Samsung Moment’s touch sensitive display is fitted with accelerometer and proximity sensor. This Samsung phone also comes with a slide out QWERTY keyboard. The camera of Samsung moment comes with 3.2-megapixel resolution, zoom, flash, auto focus and video recorder. You can enjoy music blaring from the MP3 music player integrated in this Samsung handset. Sprint subscribers could also download songs from the Sprint Music Store.

Moreover, Samsung Moment users could access prominent Google services such as Google Search, GMail and You Tube. You can download apps and games from the Android Market. Social networking enthusiasts can easily access Facebook and Twitter with this Samsung smartphone. Samsung Moment supports text message, multimedia message, instant message and email. Visual voice mail is also accessible with Samsung Moment. Through ActiveSync service, users can access their personal and corporate emails.

Samsung Moment users could access Sprint services such as Sprint TV, NFL Mobile Live and NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile. The built-in GPS powered by Google Maps and Sprint Navigation will facilitate navigation with Samsung Moment. Samsung Moment has a sleek form, 117mm long, 59mm wide and 16mm thick. It weighs 161 grams. The battery of the phone supports up to 5.50 hours of talk time. The external memory of the handset could be expanded up to 32GB with microSD card. This phone also features 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth and USB 2.0 port. Samsung Moment will run on Sprint’s CDMA network. Fast data transfer will be supported by the ED-DO Rev and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Price and Availability
Samsung Moment will be available from the Sprint retail stores from November 1. It will cost $180 along with a two-year Sprint service contract.
