Flaunting a clamshell form, the upcoming Motorola Brute i680 meets the Military Specification standard similar to the previous Motorola rugged phones. Motorola Brute i680 could withstand shock, extreme temperatures, vibration, low pressure, salt fog and radiation. Even non-adventurous people who would not venture into unfriendly locales would find this water, dust and shock resistant phone useful.

Motorola Brute i680 would come to your aid in emergencies. Motorola Brute i680 users could access the Public Safety application, an emergency service that is exclusively available on the Nextel Sprint network. Motorola Brute will support prominent messaging formats including email.

It will even support threaded messaging. The push to talk service of Nextel Direct Connect will offer instant communications. Motorola Brute i680 users have the option of converting a push to talk call to interconnect voice call by simply pressing a button.
