Spinach Roll Spinach vegetable roll
To prepare spinach vegetable roll you need 7 to 8 spinach leaves
Two medium sized potatoes
One carrot
One cup of cabbage
Half cup of tomato paste
Two medium sized onions
Five to six cloves of garlic
One teaspoon of fresh parsley
One teaspoon of sliced ginger
One cup of grated parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon of thyme
Two teaspoons of black pepper
Oil for frying
Salt to taste

To make the spinach roll, wash the whole spinach leaves and gently pat them dry. Make sure that each of the spinach leaves remain unbroken. Mash the potato. Grate the carrots. Blanch the cabbage. In a pan, heat about three tablespoons of vegetable oil. Put the onion in the oil and fry, until the onions become transparent. Now add the garlic and the ginger. Fry until they become soft. Now add the tomato paste, and stir the ingredients for about 10 seconds. Add the grated carrot, blanched cabbage and mashed potato. Blend the ingredients well.

Add thyme, parsley, grated cheese, salt and pepper. Stir for a few seconds and remove the pan from the fire. Take a teaspoonful of the filling and spread it longitudinally on a spinach leaf. Roll the spinach leaf in the shape of a cylinder. You can tie a thread around the spinach roll to prevent the vegetable filling from coming out of the roll. Steam the spinach roll for about five minutes. Serve the spinach roll with tomato sauce.

Spinach chicken roll
200 grams of minced chicken
Two large sized onions
One teaspoon of garlic paste
One teaspoon of ginger paste
Three eggs
One teaspoon of thyme
½ teaspoon of nutmeg powder
One teaspoon of parsley
Two tablespoon of grated parmesan cheese
One tablespoon of black pepper
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Six spinach leaves

Heat four tablespoon of oil in a pan. Slice the onions and fry, until they become brown. Add the ginger and garlic paste. Fry the ingredients for about 20 minutes. Now add the minced chicken. Stir the ingredients. Add the thyme, nutmeg powder, parsley, cheese, salt and pepper to the chicken filling. Stir the ingredients for about ten minutes. Remove the chicken filling from the fire. Put a teaspoonful of chicken filling in the center of a spinach leaf. Roll the leaf in the shape of a cylinder. Beat the eggs. Dip the roll in the egg and fry it in oil.
