This is the first cell phone to boast a transparent screen. The 4.0 x 1.7 x 0.5 inches slim body of Xperia Pureness weighs only 70 grams. The scratch resistant monochrome transparent TFT display measures only 1.8 inches. Xperia Pureness has some stunning music features. It has an integrated music and video player. For increasing the vibrancy of the music, users can utilize the MegaBass feature.
The TrackID feature will help you to track information on artists and albums. With the integrated album art, you can browse through your music files and select the desired album. Stereo Bluetooth support will help you to connect to headsets without entangling wires. The built-in FM radio will allow you to tune in to local FM radio stations. Access NetFront web browser will enable internet surfing on Sony Ericsson Xperia Pureness. You can use this Sony Ericsson phone for exchanging emails, picture and text messages. It will support PC syncing through Exchange ActiveSync service.
Xperia Pureness flaunts an organizer with alarm clock, calendar, calculator, stopwatch, phone book and notebook. This Sony Ericsson device will come with 88MB of internal storage space. Xperia Pureness is capable of running on both 2G and 3G networks. The phone’s battery could support up to 350 hours of standby time. For 2G users, the battery of the handset has enough juice for supporting 8 hours 30 minutes of talk time. The battery provides only 3 hours 30 minutes of talk time to 3G users. However, several important features that you can easily find in any affordable smartphones, are missing from this Sony Ericsson designer handset. Sony Ericsson Xperia Pureness does not have a microSD card slot. Wi-Fi and GPS are missing from the device. The biggest lacuna of this Sony Ericsson phone is the absence of a camera.
Price
The price tag of around $870 seems to be excessively high for a basic feature phone. This phone will be available in selected boutiques.
