Samsung Unveils Shark Series Phones With SNS

There is no dearth of social network centric cell phones. These trendy yet affordable phones target the young adults or social networking maniacs. Samsung has further expanded the choice of the social networking crazy generation by introducing the Shark series. The upcoming Shark phones are Shark (S5350), Shark 2 (S5550) and Shark 3 (S3550). All the three Shark handsets feature Social Networking Services (SNS) to access social networking sites. With these Samsung handsets, users could program an SOS message, which could be instantly sent to specific numbers in times of distress. All the three Shark phones will be shipped from this month.

Samsung Shark (S5350)

The candy bar Samsung Shark comes with smooth metallic finish and an ergonomic design. It is only 0.47-inch thick. This SNS enabled phone boasts an advanced graphic user interface. Samsung Shark sports a 2.2 inches display with more than 262 thousand color support. The 3.2 megapixel camera of the phone could capture both still images and videos. Samsung Shark has integrated music and video player and FM radio. Shark will run on the quad band GSM and the dual band UMTS networks. It will support 3G. Samsung Shark also offers stereo Bluetooth, WAP 2.0, USB 2.0, microSD memory card slot and Mobile Tracker. It features 100MB internal memory. The battery of shark supports up to 10.33 hours of talk time and up to 19 days of standby time.

Samsung Shark 2 (S5550)

Shark 2 is the best handset of the Shark series. It features 2.2-inch AMOLED display. Its 5MP camera is fitted with LED flash, auto focus, smile detection and face detection. Compared to the other Shark phones, the battery of this 3G enabled phone supports greater talk time and standby time. The rest of the technical features of Shark 2 are same as that of Shark S5350.

Samsung Shark 3 (S3550)

Shark 3 is a slider phone, flaunting a sleek body, barely 0.57-inch thick, and an ergonomic design. To facilitate intuitive navigation, Shark 3 comes with advanced user interface. Shark 3 features a 2.2 inches display, a numeric keypad, a 2-megapixel camera, integrated media player, FM radio, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 and Mobile Tracker. You can browse the internet and send emails with the Shark 3 handset. If the 35MB internal memory of the phone is not sufficient for stashing all your music and video files, you could opt for external memory expansion with microSD memory card. Its battery will provide up to 7.5 hours of talk time and up to 18 hours of standby time.
