Three new cell phones are arriving from the workshops of Samsung Electronics. However, none of these devices has anything new to offer. Samsung SCH-B890 is a 2G slider, whereas Samsung S3650 is an affordable touchscreen device. Samsung B3310 is a slider phone with a slide out QWERTY keyboard.
Samsung SCH-B890, which is currently available only in the South Korean market, is a sleek slider phone, barely 12.2mm thick. It will run only on 2G networks. The 2.8-inch AMOLED screen of this new Samsung handset will support 160K colors. The phone also features a slide out numeric keypad.
This phone has a 3-mega pixel camera with auto focus and smile shot features. Samsung SCH-B890 supports English study content. It is equipped to send instant messages. The integrated Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting or T-DMB, which is the digital radio transmission technology designed in South Korea, will help users to access multimedia features. This Samsung slider will be available in Pearl White and Noir White colors complete with a silky finish.
Samsung S3650 Corby
Samsung S3650 Corby is a new affordable touchscreen phone. This phone features a 2.8-inch QVGA touch screen. It boasts a 2-megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, FM radio and microSD memory card slot for memory expansion. Samsung Corby will run on quad band GSM network. The 13mm thick body of Corby is colored black on the front, with its back panel flaunting a yellow hue. This Samsung handset will also come preloaded with social networking features, including access to Facebook, YouTube and MySpace. Europeans will first get to see Samsung Corby within 10 September. Here Corby will carry a 200-euro price tag. Since Samsung S3650 has already received FCC’s approval, we can expect to see this phone in US in the near future.
This pink colored slider phone is designed to attract women cell phone buyers. It has a 2.1-inch 176 x 220-pixel resolution display. The full QWERTY keyboard is an important asset of this device built to accentuate its messaging features. The social network options of this Samsung handset include access to MySpace, Facebook and Flickr. Samsung B3310 will run on GSM and GPRS networks. It will feature stereo FM radio, Bluetooth, music player and 2-megapixel camera with video recording capability. The 40MB storage capacity of the handset could be expanded with microSD memory card. You can expect to see this phone within a month.
