Fibromyalgia is a non inflammatory pain and fatigue and is an arthritis related disorder. It can occur on any part of the body but most probably in shoulders, neck, back, hands, pelvic girdle etc. It is associated with tenderness and pain in the ligaments, muscles, joints and fatigue.



The main reason for the weakness is the insomnia which lowers the energy level of the people. Accumulation of toxins with in the muscles also paves the way for fibromyalgia.

Symptoms of Fibromyalgia



There will be generalized weakness, aches and stiffness at many parts of the body accompanied with chronic headache. There may be an increased sensibility to pain. Migraines, generalized fatigue etc are also common in the affected people. Swelling, tingling or numbness sensations are also seen in these people. There may be psychological and neuronal problems. The worst thing is the sleep disorder especially the timing of sleep.

Diet

You have to take a well balanced diet with plenty of soups and juices. Juices made out of cucumber, carrot, beetroot are found to be ideal for supplementing the energy and nutrients. Coconut milk, coconut water, cooked zucchini, squash, pumpkin, green salads mixed with fresh lime juice etc are good for fibromyalgia diet. Spices like asafoetida, cumin, garlic, coriander, fennel, turmeric etc are also good. Take plenty of water and this will help you to flush the toxins accumulated in the tissues.

Sleeping Pattern

You have to develop a proper sleeping pattern which means you have to go to bed at a fixed time and have to wake up during same time on each day. It will be better to avoid caffeinated foods as such foods will keep you awake. Slight exercise daily along with relaxation methods may help you to sleep well.

Exercise

Daily exercise may help you to relive the stress and will bring balance in your body. Walking, jogging, swimming, aerobics, yoga, breathing exercise etc can be practiced.

Ginger Tea

Make a tea by steeping grated ginger in a cup of hot water and the add one teaspoon honey. You can drink this daily and ginger will help you to get relief from pains and aches.
