Pomegranate fruit salad
To prepare pomegranate fruit salad, you need a cup of pomegranate seeds, Â½ cup of grated papaya, two tablespoons of grapes, one medium sized apple, one banana, one tablespoons of pomegranate juice, one tablespoon of yogurt and a pinch of salt.
Slice the apple and the banana. Add the pomegranate seeds, papaya, grapes, apple and banana slices, pomegranate juice, yogurt and salt in a big bowl. Mix the ingredients properly. Refrigerate the pomegranate fruit salad for about 30 minutes.
Pomegranate cake is not only delicious but it is also a nutritious treat. To make pomegranate cake, you need one cup of pomegranate juice, one tablespoon of pomegranate seeds, 4 Â½ cups of all-purpose flour, two eggs, 3/4 cup of granulated sugar, Â¼ cup of buttermilk, Â½ teaspoon of baking soda, five tablespoons of butter and a pinch of salt.
On low heat, simmer the pomegranate juice until it is reduced to Â½ cup. Remove the juice from the fire and allow it to cool. In a bowl, mix the reduced pomegranate juice and buttermilk. In a separate bowl, add the baking soda and salt to the flour, and sift the ingredient two to three times. In another bowl, blend the sugar and butter until the mixture becomes fluffy.
Now add the eggs to the sugar and butter mixture and continue blending the ingredients. Add the pomegranate juice and buttermilk to the mixture. Add the blended ingredients to the flour. Add the pomegranate seeds. Mix the ingredients well, to make a smooth cake batter. Pour the cake batter on a baking tray. Put the baking tray in a preheated oven. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
