This stunning Motorola smartphone will run on the Android 2.1 operating system of Google. The rugged device has a tough exterior that can withstand dust, sand and rain. The chic handset boasts a slim body, 107 mm long, 59mm wide and 13mm thin. It weighs 118 grams. The scratch resistant, high-resolution 3.7-inch touch sensitive display of Motorola Defy is equipped with ambient light sensor and proximity sensor. Defy features up to seven customizable home panels. The 5 megapixel camera of the phone features LED flash, auto focus, digital zoom, geo tagging and video recorder. You can watch videos recorded with the Motorola Defy camera on your high-definition television.

Through MotoBlur, Defy users could securely synchronize their social media, wipe sensitive data stored in the phone from distant locations and manage the battery of the phone. The browser of the Motorola smartphone supports Adobe Flash Lite 3 to facilitate PC-like web browsing. The voice command and pinch to zoom features of the smartphone further enhances its functionalities.

To cancel background noises and to support voice amplification, Crystal Talk Plus technology and two microphones have been included in the Defy handset. The upcoming Motorola handset features MP3 player, FM radio, 3.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Defy users could access prominent Google services such as Google Maps, Google Calender, Google Talk, Google Mail, Google Search by Voice, Google Contact Sync and You Tube. Motorola Defy offers 2 GB of onboard storage space. It supports memory expansion through microSD memory card.

Motorola has created this stunning smartphone for T-Mobile. It will run on the quad band GSM and dual band WCDMA networks of the carrier.
