Mobiado, the Vancouver, Canada based luxury phone maker, has launched its latest luxury phone as a tribute to the Pioneer 10 spacecraft of NASA. Mobiado Grand 350 Pioneer is the newest member of Mobiado’s Grand Line phone series. This is the first cell phone to utilize meteorite material for construction of the phone’s body.
Mobiado Grand 350 Pioneer features
Mobiado Grand 350 Pioneer is a wonderful work of art. Mobiado has amalgamated smartphone technology with the sublimity of art inspired by Pioneer 10’s success in its space mission. The main attraction of Grand 350 Pioneer is undoubtedly its Gibeon meteorite battery cover, built from material supplied by the Gibeon meteorite. Billions of years ago, the Gibeon meteorite had struck the earth in the land currently demarcated by present-day Namibia. The body of 350 Pioneer is made from aluminum used in building spacecrafts.
The frame of the phone is studded with sapphire crystals. A solid ruby crystal has been used for creating the infrared window of 350 Pioneer. Gold plated stainless steel is used for making the screws of the phone. Stainless steel and sapphire crystals have been combined to create the buttons of Mobiado Grand 350 Pioneer. On the left side of the phone is engraved the date and time when Pioneer 10 spacecraft was launched in space. The phone’s limited edition number will be engraved in the right side of 350 Pioneer. A replica of Pioneer Plaque, the pictorial message inscribed in Pioneer 10 spacecraft, is painted on the battery cover.
Mobiado Grand 350 Pioneer is an unlocked device. It runs on quad band GSM or EGSM networks. High speed data transfer will be supported by 3.5G, HSPDA and Wi-Fi connectivity. This Mobiado phone features 2.36-inch display with 16 million color support, 3.2 megapixel camera and video camera, music and video player, micro USB slot, 2.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth and built-in GPS.
Mobiado has not yet released any information on the pricing of the phone. However, given that only 37 limited edition units will be available, perhaps you need to be uber rich to afford one of these masterpieces.
