LG Introduces GT540 Swift, GW990 and Rumor Touch

Cell phone manufacturers from around the world are heading to the Consumer Electronics Show 2010 to display their latest creations. LG has unveiled its several upcoming cell phones in the Las Vegas event. The LG product line up include the LG Android phone GT540, the Atom powered smartphone LG GW990 and the LG Rumor Touch, an affordable touchscreen phone that will come with Sprint contract.



LG GT540 Swift

This is the second Android phone of LG. Flaunting a slim body with rounded edges, the LG Swift is another smartphone created to cater to the needs of the social network crazy generation. The dedicated Social Networking Service (SNS) Manager of the smartphone will take care of the social networking activities of the user. Users of LG Swift can access the Google Mobile services such as Google Maps, YouTube and GMail. This is a full touchscreen phone.



The 3-megapixel camera of the phone is equipped with auto focus and face detection features. The integrated media player of the Android phone will support DivX, WMV and MPEG4 video files. Swift is also equipped with a FM radio. This LG Android phone will come with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G support. It will also feature GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and microSD slot for up to 32GB of memory expansion.

LG GW990
LG GW990 is one of the most awe-inspiring phones that have been unveiled in CES2010. It will be the first LG device to run on the Moblin 2.1 platform. This LG smartphone is powered by the Atom Pineview processor. The latest atom chipset will make LG GW990 one of the most power efficient LG smartphones. The 1850 mAh Li-Ion battery of the phone will have a pretty long lifetime. This upcoming LG smart device will carry a 4.8 inches widescreen display, a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus, integrated MP3 player and GPS. The 512 MB RAM and the Intel processor will provide enhanced speed. This 3G enabled phone will even feature Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.




LG Rumor Touch
This latest LG phone of the Rumor series boasts a 3 inches touchscreen, a slide out QWERTY keyboard, 2-megapixel camera, microSD card slot, 3G connectivity, media player, Bluetooth and access to Sprint services and social networking sites.
