Kyocera, noted for wireless devices carrying the Sanyo label, is ready to launch a new high-end smartphone named Kyocera Zio M6000. Kyocera Zio will mark the company’s return to the smartphone sector after a decade. The upcoming smartphone will arrive in the American market in the second quarter of this year.

Kyocera has jumped on the Android bandwagon. Its latest creation is an Android powered touch sensitive device. It flaunts a sleek and slim body, measuring 116mm (length) x 58.6mm (width) x 12.2mm (depth) and weighing 105 grams. Although Kyocera Zio offers the usual standard features of smartphones, nonetheless this is a good-looking device that you would love to flaunt.
Zio flaunts a 3.5 inches TFT LCD WVGA capacitive touch sensitive display equipped with accelerometer. You can expect to see sharp and crisp images on the high-resolution display of 400 x 800 pixels resolution with 262 thousand colors support. Users can customize the home screen, adding widgets and apps of their choice such as Open Table, Facebook and Twitter downloaded from Android Market. Kyocera Zio boasts a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus and video recording capability. With the camera of Zio, videos can be captured at a speed of 30 fps. A media player for playing audio and video files is integrated in this Kyocera smartphone. Zio has a 3.5mm audio jack. Stereo Bluetooth technology is integrated in the Kyocera Zio handset, with which you can connect the device to wireless Bluetooth headsets. Speakerphone and advanced voice dialing features are included in this upcoming device.
Kyocera Zio offers 512 MB internal storage space. The external memory could be expanded up to 32 GB with microSD memory card. Zio will support full HTML web browsing. The built-in GPS and the preloaded Google Maps will help users to find their destinations. You can even use Zio in Wi-Fi hotspots. The 1130 mAh Lithium ion battery of the phone will support up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 432 hours of standby time. This upcoming Kyocera Android device will run on the CDMA network.
