Even a person hating sweets goes ‘wow’ at the slight mention of ice-cream. Ice-cream is a delicacy that leads our tongue to salivate at the mere sight of it.
If devoured alone, it is anyway delectable. But then what if you could invent a few interesting recipes with it. Here are a few you can try out:
To prepare this dish, you need chocolate-cream filled biscuits, vanilla and chocolate ice-cream family packs, nuts and preferably a plain chocolate cake.
First, take a large bowl and mix the chocolate and vanilla ice-creams in equal proportion.
Now take a rectangular tray, which is deep enough to hold the contents. At the bottom layer, arrange the chocolate cake layer to fill the base. If possible, add a layer of chocolate sauce over the cake.
Once that is done, smear the chocolate-vanilla ice-cream mix evenly over the chocolate cake. It should appear like an icing layer.
Post this, crush the biscuits into half or quarter pieces. Spread these pieces all over the ice-cream layer uniformly. Now add another layer of chocolate-vanilla ice-cream over this chocolate-cream biscuit layer.
On the top add full sized almonds, cashews, walnuts and raisins. If possible smear some liquid caramel over this top layer of nuts and ice-cream.
Now keep it in the refrigerator for some time and eat to your heart’s content.
Ice-cream fruit mix
For this you need some ice-cream, fruits of your choice and some honey. Fruits should be preferably of a smaller variety like strawberries, raspberries, grapes etc.
Now chop the fruits into small, angular pieces and put them in a bowl. Add a little bit of honey to the fruit mix. Also add some raisins to the mix.
Now take a long juice-glass. At the base, pour this honey and fruit mix. But save some of it for the final layer. Now add a scope of ice-cream (you can experiment with any flavor).
Now smear the rest of the fruit and honey mix over this ice-cream scoop. Add a candy stick for a finishing touch. Keep in the refrigerator and eat when you wish.
