HTC Brings Android Phone Tattoo

HTC Android Phone Tattoo The Taiwan based cell phone maker HTC, which is busy churning out Android phones from its workshops, has launched another Google Android phone, named HTC Tattoo. Although, the name Tattoo appears a bit misleading, since we have not come across any tattoo theme on the device, but nonetheless, its touch sensitive display and access to social networking sites, make it the appropriate phone for the young generation of smartphone users.

Sense User Interface
This Google phone will be the first device to feature the latest user interface developed by HTC. The user interface, dubbed Sense, allows users to customize the home screen. Users have the option for creating seven different personalized home screens. Depending on your requirement, you can have a work screen, a travel screen or screens with other themes, adding widgets and apps appropriate to the function of the specific home screen.

Social networking
Apps connecting to the popular social networking sites, such as Facebook, Twitter and Flickr are preloaded in the HTC Tattoo handset. Tattoo users can access these sites directly from the home screen, updating profiles and uploading photos and videos on the go. Google services, such as Google Search, Google Maps, Google Mail and Android Market, are pre-installed in the phone. Voice calls, emails, text messages and status updates on social network sites are included in a single consolidated view.



Other features
The 240 x 320-pixel resolution TFT touch display of HTC Tattoo is fitted with compass and accelerometer for switching between portrait and landscape views on the screen. The 3.2MP camera of Tattoo is equipped with zoom, auto focus and video recording capabilities. The integrated MP3 will allow users to enjoy music that they can select from the music library, where downloaded songs can be categorized according to the artist’s name, album or playlist. FM radio is also included in the phone.

HTC Tattoo will run on quad band GSM and dual band HSDPA networks. It will also support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G. The integrated GPS of HTC Tattoo will aid navigation with the help of the built-in Google Maps Street View. Tattoo will come with USB 2.0 port for PC syncing. The 256MB internal storage space of this Android phone could be further expanded with memory card. The battery of Tattoo supports up to 6.50 hours of talk time and 340 hours of standby time.
