The high-end smartphones that HTC will introduce next year will include a Snapdragon powered Android device, dubbed Bravo, and three Windows Mobile phones named Photon, Tera and Trophy.
HTC Bravo belongs to the Performance category of HTC phones. It will be one of the finest HTC smartphones running on the super fast 1GHz Snapdragon QSD 8250 chipset. To give Samsung Omnia HD run for its money, HTC has packed Bravo with 720p HD video recording capability. Bravo will sport a 3.7 inches AMOLED capacitive touch screen. It will boast a 5-mehapixel camera with auto focus, flash and high definition video recording function. Along with the 256 MB memory, Bravo will carry 512MB storage space. To facilitate external memory expansion, the Bravo handset will be shipped with 16MB microSD card. Similar to other high-end smartphones, this Android device will come with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G support, built-in GPS, FM radio, micro USB port, 3.5mm audio jack and compass. Social network apps such as Facebook, Twitter and Flickr will be preinstalled in the handset. Bravo will be loaded with Google Mobile Services, Search button and Microsoft Exchange. To enhance the performance of Bravo further, optical joystick, Dolby and G-sensor will be integrated into the device. HTC will probably launch Bravo in April 2010.
This upcoming HTC smartphone will run on the Windows Mobile 6.5 platform. It will sport a 3.2 inches capacitive touch sensitive display. Powered by the TouchFlo 3D user interface of HTC, Photon will support a wide range of communication, business and entertainment features. To enhance the productivity of the phone, HTC has incorporated motion G-sensor, business card scanner and social network widgets such as Facebook and Twitter in this handset. Photon will come with a 5-megapixel camera with auto focus, 256 MB RAM, 512 MB internal storage space and microSD slot for external memory expansion. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G support, 3.5mm headset jack, micro USB port, FM radio and GPS are also integrated in Photon. Photon will hit the stores sometime in April next year.
This is another HTC Windows Mobile phone. It will run on the 600MHz Qualcomm processor. It will flaunt a 3 inches capacitive touch screen and a 5-megapixel camera with auto focus. HTC Trophy will come with GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, FM radio, Super Search, 512MB internal storage space, microSD slot, micro USB port, motion sensor and TouchFlo 3D user interface. Trophy will be up for grabs in May 2010.
Tera is a 3-inch resistive touchscreen WinMo phone. It sports a 3.2-megapixel camera. The rest of the technical specifications of Tera are same as that of the above WinMo phones of HTC.
