It is not given to all of us to dress like stylish models. While some are born with the fashion sense, others make a few fashion blunders before realizing that they need to change their wardrobe.
But this doesn’t have to be such a difficult task. And it can be done on a budget as well. All you need is a little bit of organization, cleaning and good decisions and your up-to-date wardrobe will be ready to use.
Clean out your closet. Most of the time, you may not know that you have a perfectly good and usable dress because it has been pushed to the back of your closet.
Then, examine each piece of clothing carefully. Decide what you like and will wear for a long time – these are the ones you should keep. Anything that’s torn or ill-fitting needs to be thrown out. Be strong while you’re sorting out your clothes and put away all sentimental attachments.
Make a list
Now you can take stock of what you own that can be worn. If you’re working in a corporate organization, you need clothes that are suitable for that environment. Make a list of the things needed: formal trousers, sensible shoes, a handbag, a business suit, a white blouse and a little black dress.
Know what to buy
When you go shopping, remember to buy only what you need. Buy tops that can be worn with jeans as well as trousers. Select colors that suit your skin tone. This way you’ll be investing money in something that you’ll get good use out of for a long time. Avoid spending on anything that you’ll only wear once.
A good way to save money on shopping is to look for sales. You can search the Internet for stores having sales or also try to shop online. Remember that whatever you buy should be worth the money you spend on it.
