Spinach is a leafy vegetable and it can be used as an ingredient in making pasta to make your pasta more nutritious. Instead of your normal pasta try Spinach Pasta and you will definitely like it. Here are the tips of making spinach pasta.

Tips to make Spinach Pasta

Take one teaspoon olive oil in a pan and to this add one cup of basils and small bunch spinach cut in to small pieces. To this add one medium sized red onion that is sliced to big pieces. Also add one tomato sliced to big pieces. To this add 7 sliced green chilies and four garlic cloves split in to half. You can also add half cup of cashews, salt and peanut in to the pan. Sauté the entire ingredient till the spinach wilts and lost its raw smell. Now allow the mixture to cool and then add them in to a blender. Blend the mixture till it makes a fine paste. Take care to avoid adding water to the mixture.

Now heat one tablespoon of olive oil in a pan and to this add the mixture obtained after blending. Then add half to one cup of water to the pan and mix well. Taste the sauce and add salt if needed. Allow the entire contents to boil for about 20 minutes or till it makes a thick sauce. Simultaneously cook the pasta in boiling water till al dente. Then strain the liquid from the pasta and add the cooked pasta in to the sauce and mix them well.

Spinach Pasta with Ground Beef

You can also make spinach pasta through another method. Take a skillet and to this add two tablespoon oil and heat it. Then add one pound ground beef in to the skillet. Now add powdered onion and garlic to the skillet and mix well. Heat the entire contents in low heat till it becomes brown.

In another pan cook pasta with enough water and then drain the liquid. Add the cooked pasta  to the beef and mix well. Add one cup of frozen spinach to the pasta and beef mixture and cook for five minutes. Now you can add three cups of shredded cheese in to the skillet and close the skillet with a lid for melting the cheese. Stir the contents in between to make the cheese melt.
Now your spinach pasta is ready to serve.
