Cats love fish, chicken, turkey, lamb and liver. It is advisable to consult your veterinarian, especially if your pet has any immunity problem, before giving the animal raw meat. Remember to thaw the meat before giving it to your pet. Some cats enjoy fruits and vegetables. However, you should not give onions, peas, corns and starchy vegetables to your pet. Although you can give cow milk to your cat, animals suffering from lactose intolerance should not be given milk and milk products.

Fishy meal

Ingredients




One can of tuna or salmon
Two eggs
½ teaspoon of garlic powder
One tablespoon of raw vegetables
One cup of milk
One cup of cooked brown rice
One tablespoon of vegetable oil

Nutritional supplements

To enhance the quality of your homemade cat food, it is advisable to add vitamin supplements to the dish. You should add 2500 IU of vitamin A, 100 mg of vitamin B complex, 200 IU of vitamin E and 200 mg cat vitamin tablet.

Method of preparation

Mix all the ingredients including the vitamin supplements. Bake it in a preheated oven at 350 degree Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes. You can even skip the baking process and serve the fishy meal to your pet simply by blending the ingredients.

Chicken delight

Ingredients

One cup of ground chicken
Four slices of brown bread
One tablespoon of mixed vegetables
Water for boiling
Vitamin supplements

Method of preparation

On medium heat, simmer the chicken for about 20 to 30 minutes. Remove the pan containing the chicken from the stove and allow it to cool. When the chicken attains room temperature, add the vegetables, brown bread and vitamin supplements, and blend the ingredients well.
