Blackheads remedies The black and slightly raised spots on your skin, known as blackheads, are a type of acne. Blackhead is also known as open comedo. This symptom of acne is characterized by widening of the hair follicle, which appears as enlarged pores on the skin. The skin debris and the sebum or the oily skin secretion, darkened by oxidation, clogs the pores of the skin, forming blackheads. Similar to acne and pimples, blackhead is not specifically a teenage skin problem. Adults with acne prone skin can also suffer from blackheads. Although, blackheads primarily appear on the tip of the nose and the cheeks, you can also discover blackheads on the back. With proper skin care and simple remedies, you can easily get rid of these ugly bumps on your face.

Blackhead remedies
A good exfoliation agent could help to remove the blackheads gradually from your skin. Most face masks usually do not work on the blackheads directly. But by reducing the size of the skin pores and removing the impurities clogging the pores, skin masks could be used for naturally healing the blackheads.



Baking soda
Add two tablespoons of water to two tablespoons of baking soda. Applying this baking soda paste four to five times a day on the blackheads would help to remove them from your skin.

Rice or lentil scrub
Grind two tablespoons of rice or any lentil. Make sure some granules remain in the rice or lentil powder. Add four tablespoons of unsweetened yogurt to the rice or lentil powder to form a thick paste. Apply the paste on the areas affected by blackheads. Leave the paste for ten to fifteen minutes or until the paste becomes partially dry. Dampen your fingers, and in a circular motion, gently rub the skin for about one to two minutes. Wash your face with tepid warm water. This scrub could help to remove the blackheads from your skin.



Essential oils
Certain essential oils are effective in removing blackheads. Aloe vera gel could help to remove blackheads from the skin. Organic lavender essential oil is also used for reducing blackheads.

Healthy diet
Having lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and drinking plenty of water could help to reduce your skin problems.
