Greek Salad

Greek salads are very easy to make and they are attractive too. Greek salads are a combination of flavors. You can make these salads at night and can keep them overnight for chilling.

Greek Veggie Salad

Take a large bowl and to this add one head of chopped cauliflower, one head of chopped broccoli, two cups of cherry tomatoes and six ounce of small and pitted black colored olives. If you are using the canned olives then drain out the liquid from the can and use the olives.

Then take six ounce of tomato basil feta cheese and crumble the cheese. Add this cheese to the bowl and mix the entire ingredients well. Now add sixteen ounce of zesty Italian dressing and toss the entire mixture. Keep the salad covered in refrigerator for the entire night. The next day you can use this salad.

Greek Chicken Salad

Get a large bowl and to this add two cup of cubed and cooked meat of chicken. Also add half cup of sliced carrots and half cup of sliced cucumber. Then mix quarter cup of sliced black colored olives and quarter cup of crumbled feta cheese with the chicken and vegetable mixture. When the entire mixture gets mixed up then add quarter cup of Italian style salad dressing and combine the entire ingredients very well. Cover the bowl and keep it in a refrigerator for about one hour. This will allow the flavors to mix up well with the chicken and vegetables and gives good taste to your salad.

Greek salad

Take a salad bowl and add three chopped plum tomatoes, one sliced green bell pepper, one chopped cucumber, one chopped onion and half cup of sliced olives. Then add quarter cup of olive oil, one teaspoon of red wine vinegar, one teaspoon of lemon juice, one clove of minced garlic, half teaspoon of dried oregano, pepper powder and salt to taste. Mix the entire contents very well and keep it for one hour and stir the contents in between to blend the flavors well. Then add salad dressing and tomato basil feta cheese and toss the contents well.
