Netbooks are fast becoming smaller and thinner. Fujitsu has further intensified the competition in the ultra thin netbook sector by unveiling outstanding LifeBook series mini-notebooks. Incorporating the features of a desktop PC in a handheld device might not be an easy task, but Fujitsu has managed to accomplish this feat in its two upcoming mini-notebooks – Lifebook MH380 and LifeBook UH900.
Fujitsu LifeBook MH380
If you are searching for style and productivity at the same time, Fujitsu LifeBook MH380 would meet most of your needs. The compact and lightweight netbook sports a 10.1 inches back-lit LED Glare display. The screen of 1366 x 768 pixel resolution supports high-definition image viewing. The multi-gesture Touch Pad of the mini-netbook supports ‘rotate‘ and ‘zoom’ functions, which would enable users to adjust the image position and size by a simple flip of the finger. Besides the conventional functions of the multi-gesture touch pad, you can also use it as a scroll wheel. LifeBook MH380 supports 2GB of RAM. It has a pretty large internal storage space. If the 250GB memory is not sufficient for storing all your documents, you can go for external memory expansion with SD or SDHC card.
LifeBook MH380 is powered by the Intel Atom N450 processor. Users can access and edit documents, spreadsheets and presentation slides with the ThinkFree Mobile Office Suite application preinstalled in the device. Bluetooth, 1.3-megapixel webcam, Wi-Fi support, microphone and stereo speakers are also integrated in this mini-notebook.
Fujitsu LifeBook UH900
LifeBook UH900 is one of the best Fujitsu creations that would give the ultra-thin netbook makers a run for their money. Touted to be the ‘smallest multi-touch handheld PC’, Lifebook UH900 measures 20.4cm (length) x 10.65cm (width) x 2.38cm (depth) and weighs less than 500 grams. The 5.6 inches display of the mini-notebook could be viewed even in sunlight.
Despite the small size of the screen, you can view the web pages in full width along with flash animations. The Touch Buttons panel will enable users to adjust the image size and resolution. By clicking the ECO button, the battery life could be extended up to 3 hours. LifeBook UH900 is equipped with 62GB storage space. It will support Bluetooth, webcam, microphone and 3.5G connectivity.
