Now this wrist phone will be ultimately available to consumers in Europe from July, and it will be gradually introduced in other regions of the world. No longer will you lose your cell phone and miss a call, since your cell phone will be tied to your wrist.

Once a concept phone, adorning pages of fictional spy thrillers, a wrist phone watch is now a reality. LG-GD910 is the first 3G HSDPA touch watch phone in the world. Enabling both 3G and HSDPA network connectivity, GD910 will allow data downloads at a speed of 7.2Mbps. The 13.9mm thick watch is covered with a metal casing, and has a curved glass face.

Despite the small size, LG had not left out popular smart phone features out of the domain of this watch phone. You can send and receive calls and text messages with this small phone. The 3.63cm touch screen display of the phone, with the help of the intuitive Flash Interface designed by LG, works like any other touch screen device. You do not have to strain your eyes to read the text messages flashed on the small display of GD910. For your convenience, the Text to Speech functionality of the phone will read out any text message. The watch phone is also equipped with voice recognition feature. You can use a Bluetooth headset for verbal communication with your watch phone.

Other features of GD910 include MP3 playback, built-in speaker, stereo Bluetooth and digital camera. The 3G Video Telephone service allows high-speed video phone calls. This phone watch is also water resistant, allowing you to go for a swim with the phone tied to your wrist. Besides 3G and HSDPA, LG phone watch also supports GSM, GRPS and EDGE. The standard Li-Ion battery of the watch phone will allow 2 hours of talk time and 247 hours of standby time with a single charge.
