Egg Casserole

Egg casserole with bacon



Ingredients
Four eggs, lightly beaten
Eight slices of bacon
Four slices of brown bread
One teaspoon of minced onion
Half a cup of milk
One cup of Cheddar cheese
½ green pepper
One teaspoon of dry mustard
Salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation



In a frying pan, cook the bacon slices until they are crisp. Remove the crispy cooked bacon slices from the pan, and crumble them. Cook the onions and green pepper in the pan, until they become soft. Now lightly grease a baking tray, and arrange the bread slices on the tray. Take a large bowl, add the eggs, milk, mustard, salt, pepper, cooked onions and green pepper, and mix the ingredients. Pour the egg mixture on the bread. Cover the tray and refrigerate it for about eight hours. Remove the tray from the refrigerator and allow it to stand aside for about half an hour. Now place the baking tray containing the uncooked casserole in a preheated oven and bake the egg casserole for about twenty minutes at 350 degree Fahrenheit temperature. Sprinkle crumbled bacon and cheese over the casserole and bake it for five more minutes. Your egg and bacon casserole is not ready to savor.

Egg and spinach casserole




Ingredients
Four hard-boiled eggs
1 lb spinach
One cup of milk
One cup of bread crumbs
Quarter cup of flour
One cup of shredded Cheddar cheese
Three tablespoon of butter
Pinch of cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon of black pepper
½ teaspoon of salt

Method of preparation
Wash the spinach and cook in for about ten minutes. Chop the cooked spinach. In a pan, melt butter. Add the flour and blend it with the butter. Slowly pour the milk and blend the ingredients. Add the cayenne pepper and black pepper. When the sauce thickens, remove the pan from the fire.

Slice the hard-boiled eggs. On a greased tray, form a layer with the breadcrumbs. On top of the breadcrumb layer, spread the cooked and chopped spinach. Arrange the egg slice on top of it. Pour the sauce over it. Sprinkle shredded cheese and bake the egg casserole at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes.
