Melon coolers are one of the most delicious refreshing drinks. The following recipes will help you to make different types of melon coolers.



Take four cups of fresh melons. You can choose melons like cantaloupe, watermelon, honeydew melon etc. Peel and remove the seeds from the melon and cut them in to pieces.

Put the melons in to a blender and to this add half cup of water, quarter cup of sugar and two tablespoons of lime juice. Blend the mixture well and you can add more water and sugar if necessary. You can add extra flavor to your drink by adding mint. Keep the drink in refrigerator and serve it in a tall glass containing ice cubes.



Cantaloupe and Orange Juice

Get two cups of frozen ripe cantaloupes or fresh cut cantaloupe and keep it in refrigerator for cooling. Put the cantaloupe pieces in to a blender and add one cup of orange juice to this. Also add three tablespoon sugar and five scoops of vanilla ice cream and mix them for one minute. Instead of ice cream you can also add frozen yogurt. You can also substitute two cups of melon with one cup of mangoes. This helps you to give a tropical flavor to your drink. This will be enough for serving four people.




Cantaloupe and Seltzer

Take eight cups of seeded cantaloupe pieces in a blender and mix it well. Now strain the cantaloupe through a fine cheese cloth. Finally squeeze the cloth to collect the remaining juice. To this add one tablespoon fresh lemon juice, ¼ teaspoon salt and one tablespoon sugar. Mix the entire contents well and keep in the refrigerator for chilling. Divide the entire mixture in to eight tall glasses and top the mixture with chilled seltzer or club soda. You can also garnish it with honeydew melon slices and lime wedges.

Pineapple and Melon Mixture

Take two ounce of pineapple juice, one ounce melon liqueur, half ounce of peach schnapps and half ounce of raspberry liqueur in a blender and mix them well with ice cubes. Now pour the contents in to a tall glass and garnish with cherry and lime wheels.
