Asparagus roots are found to have good effect on curing depression. This highlyÂ nutritious root may act as a perfect tonic for nerves and brain. You have to take two grams of powdered asparagus root daily.
Omega 3 fatty Acid
Omega 3 fatty acid is also beneficial for treating depression as this good fat is essential for the well being of the brain functions. Capsules containing fish oils are considered to be a good source of omega 3 fatty acid.
Include vegetables and fruits that are rich in vitamin B especially folic acid and B6. This is because B vitamins regulate the level of brain chemicals like norepinephrine and serotonin which in turn plays an important role in determining the mood of a person.
