Although, coconut oil has been maligned in recent times for its high saturated fat content, recent studies have failed to establish any direct association between coconut oil and heart diseases. In has been observed that replacing coconut oil in traditional cooking with heart friendly cooking oils could not arrest the rising incidence of heart diseases.
