So calcium rich foods are essential for maintaining the proper health and here are some recipes that give you enough calcium.

Pure Berry Shake

Pure berry shake is a nutritious drink that supplies 151 calories and 225 mg calcium per servings. For making this you need one cup of plain yogurt, two tablespoon strawberry jam, one cup frozen or fresh strawberries that are not sweetened and one cup of water. Take the entire ingredients except berries in a blender and blend them. Add the berries slowly to the mixture and blend till it gives a smooth mixture. Instead of strawberry you can also add raspberry or a combination of both. Keep it in refrigerator for chilling and serve and this will be enough to make two servings.

Corn and Red Pepper Caesar Salad

This salad will give you 342 calories along with 175 mg calcium, 13 g protein, 29 g carbohydrates and 3.5 g fiber. For preparing this salad you need four large eggs that has to be cooked in boiling water for about 10 minutes. Then take it out from the hot water and keep in cold water to remove the shells and keep aside. Get one medium sized head romaine lettuce and separate their leaf end. Wash and dry the leaves and cut them in to pieces and spread in the salad bowl.

Salad Dressing

Take 13 cup of Parmesan cheese and to this add six tablespoon olive oil, one teaspoon minced garlic, ¼ cup of lemon juice, one teaspoon Dijon mustard, salt and pepper powder to add taste. Whisk the entire contents well and keep aside.

Now get three cups of canned and drained corn kernels, diced and seeded one red bell pepper and add them to the bowl containing lettuce. Then add one and a half cup garlic croutons to this bowl and toss them well. Then cut the boiled and cooled eggs and add to the corn mixture along with the salad dressing and toss the entire contents. Then garnish your salad with 13 cup of grated Parmesan cheese. Now your salad is ready to serve.
