If you want to get maximum benefits from eating a fish then you should eat  baked fish. This is because baked fish is a good source of omega 3 fatty acid which is beneficial for heart health than any other fried, dried or salted fish. If you can bake the fish with low sodium soy sauce then it will be more beneficial.



More over baked fish has less calories than fried fish. It is easy to make baked fish and the following recipe helps you to make baked fish.

Tips to Make Baked Fish



Ingredients For Baking a Fish

One whole bream
Lime juice – two limes
Lime zest- two limes
Lemon – one
Red chili – one
Lemon grass – one stick
Olive oil – thirty ml
Butter – one tablespoon
Watercress – one small bunch
Chives – one tablespoon chopped
Salt –  to taste
Powdered pepper – to taste




Preparation

Take the fish and make three diagonal cuts on both the sides of the fish. Get the zest out of the lime and chop it in to small pieces. Also finely chop red chili and lemon grass stick and add the copped pieces in to olive oil. Now keep the fish on a roasting tray add salt and powdered black pepper to taste. Pour the fresh lime juice over the cuts on the fish on both the sides. Now pour little olive mixture to these cuts and use the rest of the oil to brush on the fish.

Pre heat the oven at a temperature of 180 degree C and cook the fish for 20 minutes. Then take the roasting tray out and to this add one tablespoon butter, coarsely chopped chives and watercress. Keep the roasting tray back to the oven and cook it till the watercress becomes collapsed and  starts to wilt. Get the tray back from the oven and pour lime juice over the fish.
