AT&T Brings Sharp FX

Sharp FX, the stunning Sidekick phone, will now be available with AT&T service. The Sharp phone flaunts a slide-out design with a touch screen and slide out full QWERTY keyboard. This cell phone could be purchased from the AT&T retail stores for $99.99 after availing a $50 AT&T promotion card. Moreover, Sharp FX customers could access AT&T’s service for two years.
Sharp FX features:
Sharp FX features a 3 inches touch sensitive screen capable of displaying images of high-definition resolution. The slide out keyboard will help you to type your messages in a matter of seconds. The 2 megapixel camera integrated in the phone is equipped with zoom and camcorder.
For music lovers, Sharp FX carries a MP3 player. AT&T customers could download their favorite songs and music from AT&T Mobile Music, the online music store of the carrier. Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP integrated in the phone will support stereo music.
For viewing the internet, Sharp FX users could access the full HTML browser of the handset. The browser will enable users to customize home pages, navigate speedily to locate popular streaming content and, search for local news. The HSDPA connectivity will allow speedy data exchange.
For social networking enthusiasts, Sharp FX carries the AT&T Social Net application.This app will allow Sharp FX users easy access to popular social networking sites, including Twitter and and Facebook.
The photos and videos taken with the camera of the phone could be stored in the online locker. Users could manage the contents in the online locker and share them with friends and on social networking sites.
AT&T subscribers could access AT&T Mobile TV with the Sharp FX handset. The Mobile TV app will enable users to watch popular television channels such as Disney Channel, CNN Mobile, ESPN Mobile, CBS, ABS, NBC, MTV and Comedy Central. However, to access the popular TV channels, AT&T subscribers should pay $9.99 per month.
The built-in GPS and the AT&T Navigator will provide turn-by-turn direction, one-touch re-routing, 3D maps and traffic alerts.
Sharp FX boasts 80 MB onboard storage. For additional storage, you can use microSD memory card. The battery of the phone will offer 3 hours of talk time and up to 10 hours of standby time.
