ATandT Launches Samsung Sunburst Touchscreen Phone

Samsung Sunburst features

Samsung Sunburst is equipped with a 3 inches display of 240 x 400 pixel resolution and with 262 thousand colors support. The accelerometer integrated in the display of Samsung Sunburst will instantly shift the image view as you rotate the handset. Samsung has not included the latest capacitive technology in the touchscreen display. If you are more comfortable with resistive touchscreen displays, Samsung Sunburst is suitable for you. The widget bar on the home screen allows one touch access to messaging apps. You can also connect to popular social networking sites such as MySpace and Facebook directly from the home screen.

Samsung Sunburst flaunts a standard 2 megapixel camera with zoom and video recording capability. An MP3 player is integrated in the handset. You can download songs and music tracks from AT&T Mobile Music, the online music store of AT&T. However, Sunburst lacks FM radio. This EDGE enabled phone will run on the quad band GSM network of the carrier. This slim and lightweight touchscreen phone weighs only 87 grams and it is about 13mm thick. Samsung Sunburst’s battery supports up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 250 hours of standby time. Along with 189MB internal storage space, Samsung Sunburst offers memory expansion via microSD card. Bluetooth, GPS with AT&T Navigator support and USB 2.0 port are integrated in the handset.
