This Nokia phone flashes red, blue, green, purple, pink and orange colors when the user opens or closes the phone. The Nokia Mural handset also displays colorful illumination when you receive a call, text message or notification. Moreover, users can change colors, customizing the color to suit the user’s mood and style.
Sporting a clamshell form, Nokia Mural measures 97mm (length) x 47mm (width) x 16mm (depth) and weighs 111 grams. It flaunts a 2.2-inch QVGA display. To ease the typing process, the keypad of Mural features large keys with tactile feedback. Moreover, there are external keys for music control.
The integrated 2-megapixel camera of Nokia Mural is fitted with 4x digital zoom and video recording capabilities. This Nokia phone designed for AT&T will allow users to access the popular services of the carrier, including AT&T Mobile Music, AT&T Navigator and AT&T Video Share, which are pre-installed in the Nokia Mural handset.
Nokia Mural will run on the quad band GSM and tri band HSDPA networks of AT&T. High speed internet browsing will be provided by AT&T’s HSDPA 3G connection. Nokia Mural supports Bluetooth connectivity. However, Wi-Fi is missing from the handset. You can sync photos, texts and other contents stored in your Nokia Mural handset to you PC through the USB 2.0 port. The integrated GPS of Nokia Mural along with AT&T Navigator service will help users to find directions on the move.
Nokia Mural will also support SMS, EMS, MMS, email and instant messaging via AOL, Yahoo and Windows Live. It sports MP3 player with access to AT&T Mobile Music service, to help download your favorite music tracks and songs. However, FM radio is absent from this Nokia handset. Mural has up to 70MB of storage space. External memory could be expanded up to 16GB with microSD memory card. The 1050mAh Li-Ion battery of the phone supports up to 4 hours of talk time and 336 hours of standby time.
Nokia Mural will be available from September 6. It will cost $50 with a two-year AT&T service contract.
